The white one is good for lighting your tent and the red is good for maintaining your night vision. One thing about these lights is you need to hold the switch down few a few seconds to get them to turn on, this is to stop them accidentally turning on in your bag and flattening the batteries. |

I use it a lot (basically have a flashing tail light whenever I am out) and am on my third set of batteries. It is very very easy to attach to a bike - there's a plastic strip that feeds through a twisting closure. On and off in a few seconds, and you can remove the light from the mount. You can, just about, fix it to the back of a helmet (which is where I have mine) but it's clearly not designed for that. The light has three modes -... |
