The reason I only gave it a three is that despite the description, the front mud flap is not compatible with ALL standard front forks - once fitted there is no gap between the base of the down tube and top of the tyre - i.e the tyre rubs against the mud guard bracket - I suppose this should have been obvious when I realised I needed to take the front wheel off to fit it. Getting ones that keep the aggresive look of some bikes can be hard, but I reckon they have it sorted here. Attaching them was a doddle, although I'm still not sure the front one may come loose at some point, I'll just have to wait and see. As for the practical side of things, they do their job. These mudguards say they will fit most mountain bikes. The front is the main one, the back is a very simple affair just clamping onto the seat post.
