It's more than a `get me home' pump, in essence it's a miniature version of a track pump, complete with flip-out foot stand and flexible hose which fits both Presta and Schrader valves. It comes with standard mounting for the bike frame which, unusually, is in the upwards position rather than to the side - a positive feature for me for it avoids inadvertently knocking the pump while pedalling. Hopkins, on June 24, 2013 Pros: Cons: "Purchased this from halfords its won numerous awards,and strangely you can buy spares for it from topeaks own site,highly reccomend you buy the multi {presta/shreader}valve for this as its worth it, because you dont need to spin around the adapter inside the valve head for different types of valve, just lift the air lock and close it once on the tyre valve,you will have to cut the air tube but the seal is prefect once fitted had mine 6 years and only had to replace the head valve rubber and grease the air... |
