Grade Series GTs Grade series of bikes have been designed with a mindset that is very much outside of the box compared to standard road bike design. GT have disregarded the UCI law in what a competition bike should look and feel like and instead they have created a bike that is designed for the adventurers out there. The Grade will be perfect for anything from commuting through to Gran Fondo riding and all day adventures along roads that you never before knew existed. Whether you choose the carbon or the alloy version of the Grade you are certain to venture through pastures new within your cycling world. About GT GT Bicycles get their name from their top man Gary Turner who in 1972 designed GTs first ever BMX frame, the brand was born. GT love to live by the seat of their pants and produce bikes which are lightning fast and full of fun whilst never taking themselves too seriously. GT had a simple vision when they first started out, to help riders push themselves and the sport to reach new levels of what is possible on 2 wheels whilst being reliable and innovative at the same time. From the early 80s riders such as Hans Rey signed with the brand, this propelled GT well and truly into the limelight and their continued success on the BMX track was set to continue into a new decade. Towards the late 80s there was a shift going on in the world of 2 wheels with the sport of mountain biking really beginning to take off. GT set about making the most of this new category of bikes and with the help of mountain bike pioneers such as Juli Furtado and Nico Vouilloz riding GTs legendary and iconic Triple Triangle frames, their name in mountain biking heritage was set in stone. Throughout the following 20 years and into the present day GT have been continually developing their bikes, designs and technologies to keep them on top on the World Cup Podiums year in and year out. If you want a bike that has its name set in mountain biking heritage, then GT is the brand you need to pledge your allegiance to. NB Image for illustration purposes only
