My error though as I probably should have realised that when I purchased it! Have since purchased a smaller chain for the bike and use this one on a boat that needs securing. Good product but fairly heavy so more for the heavy duty item eg Motorbike, trailer, boat rather than something which you the dead weight on you all the time. |

My bike hasn't yet been stolen so I can't comment on how this would fare against bolt croppers but it should at least be a deterrent to the passing opportunist thief. |

Feel heavy and very solid but may not be unbreakable By: NAB, on March 4, 2012 Pros: Cons: "I purchased this lock after one lost a bike at the workplace when the lock was cut using wire cutters. It was a twisted string lock and snipped very easily. I feel safer with this one but not 100% sure about it ruggedness to a hacksaw. Because of that I use 3 locks but this is my main one for the frame and 2 for quick release wheels of my carrera subway 2 bike. If the lock was broken and bike is lost I will amend this post in the future. |
