Lasts ages in the dry (riding 20miles, 5 days a week) but I have to re-apply every few days when it's raining. Just apply 1 drop to each chain roller, spin chain several times then wipe excess with a rag. If you don't wipe away the excess then over time you will get a sticky buildup. This 'ceramic' lube from Muc-Off does cost a bit more than normal lubes, but having used it for a few months now it does seem to last longer than lubes I've used in the past, even in very wet and muddy conditions. It is also far less messy, it doesn't seem to spray off the bike and onto your frame/legs...
