Changed brakes last week with this one, and it ... By: Klavs Serup Rasmussen, on October 22, 2017 Pros: Cons: "Changed brakes last week with this one, and it is definitely worth it. Brakes fitted just right tightness and no squeeling in rain (you know, that unnerving loud sound) coz it angles the brakes correctly - fast and no need to find time to go to the bike shop. Great tool By: Mr. Robert H. Palmer, on September 6, 2017 Pros: Cons: "After having suffered a scary blow out on a super fast Alpine descent last year because my brake shoe was slightly out of alignment I think this cheap and simple tool is very good. It ensures that you set you pads right in the centre of the rim braking surface and it sets the angle of the pads perfectly as well. I have noticed the increased brake efficiency on my bikes. |

This Tack brake shoe tuner puts the correct toe in when replacing brakes shoes, no fuss and no fiddling, every time. If that were all, great but despite years of doing this job with bits of folded card or the ends of spokes bent into a "U" I never reliably... |
