Great Mudguard, but with a note to 29er users. By: Kindle Customer, on March 23, 2018 Pros: Cons: "Good guard that works well; however, if you have a 29er (I am running Maxxis High Roller 2.3") and Recon TK Air forks the guard can only be fitted above the brace and not under it as per the instructions or it will leave no clearance for mud and other trail debris. Comes with 3 different decal colour schemes to suit a range of bikes. The paint protectors for the cable ties is a neat touch, but with having to fit it where I have, they were unusable. |

Item is great value. By: Jarvis, on September 16, 2017 Pros: Cons: "The item does what it says. For 700c road bike wheels, travelling at 10+mph, you're better off investing in a "full" front mud guard, if you can fit it. Or invest in an overshoe, or cycling shoes. But, it does what it says. Great Value. |

Two issues with this. 1) the straps are TIGHT ... By: Kyle McAllister, on December 20, 2016 Pros: Cons: "Two issues with this. 1) the straps are TIGHT! They are rubber so they stretch and to get it to fit, I have to stretch it to a "it's going to snap at any moment" before it is able to go through and be secured. 2) it's not really wide enough, at it's widest, the product is just less than 3 inches wide. so it does stop some spray from the wheel but I've had spots land on my glasses, up my top etc and I'm not talk about the odd spot either... I'd say it's about 85-90% effective. |
